- Learn the four slots — front, side, top, back — before you buy anything.
- Spend silver between runs. In-run gold only buys level-ups.
- Clear four bosses, then enter Overtime if you still have HP.
- Pair captains to modules (Pirate → cannons; Empress → Companion).
